• In the role as Network Engineer and Network Security Engineer, I have been dedicated to delivering project work, handling non-standard delivery requests and resource requests, focusing on preparing high-level and low-level designs in cooperation with architects, as well as overseeing service delivery. I consistently approached network infrastructure from comprehensive perspective and network security point of view, and role included executing configuration changes too
• Responsibilities included creating technical implementation proposals, estimating effort for deployment in LAN/WAN/Datacenter areas, and project implementation ranging from small (10 hours) to high-visibility (500 hours of effort). I acted as technical coordinator between customers and service delivery teams while also implementing changes myself
• I have executed changes in data centers, performed complex routing changes and redesigns, migrated firewall policies from Checkpoint to FortiGate, built DMZ network infrastructure for carve-out projects - ensured seamless service and user migration to new company with utmost confidentiality and integrity. Other notable projects include preparing underlying routing for FortiGate SD-WAN, collaborating on migration of telephony systems from network perspective, and many others.
• My experience extends to network security projects, working closely with network architects and IT Security officers.
• Often positioned as "technical coordinator", responsibility for connecting external partners via S2S VPN tunnels (parameters negotiation and defining access policy with third parties); Firewall policy consolidation and configuration - I facilitated communication between requestors and IT security, ensuring implementation of network security measures (Firewall – Checkpoint, FortiGate, Cisco ASA; IPS – Tipping Point; Proxy – McAfee) and compliance with security standards.

• Worked on project for one of the biggest car producers in world, located in Bratislava, Slovakia as network engineer dedicated for project activities

Main responsibilities include:

• Pre-sales activities (effort proposals, high-level design, clarification of customer`s needs)
• Low-level design of networking solutions based on Cisco product portfolio mainly but not limited to Routing & Switching and Wireless LAN solutions
• Deployment of designed networking solutions, device configuration
• Implementing network changes in assembly plant environment as well as in datacentre
• Documenting deployed solutions
• Testing deployed solution (including failover tests and creating FO test procedures)
• Turn over to production related activities
• L3 support for LAN/WLAN/WAN infrastructure

• Worked in Service Delivery team as a Systems Engineer for nternational customer, where network infrastructure primarily consisted of Cisco, Riverbed, and Motorola devices
• Main responsibilities included installing network devices worldwide from office center in Slovakia, collaborating with on-site technicians at customer premises, preparing configurations, communicating with customers, performing device installation and configuration, preparing solutions for logical change requests, conducting testing, and performing IOS upgrades." System engineer in general is responsible for designing, configuring, and supporting WAN/LAN infrastructure

• In the role as a DTAC Engineer at AT&T, I gained extensive hands-on experience with Cisco and Juniper devices, analog modems, and CSU/DSUs
• Responsibilities ranged from simple router installations and network logic adjustments to complex site installations and migrations involving multiple network device types
• Collaborated with onsite technicians, customers, and external resources
• Install and activate Cisco & Juniper HW at new locations
• Test and troubleshoot LAN/WAN connections, mostly focused on layer 1 and 2
• Implement (hardware replacement) and logical (network design change, configuration update, IOS upgrade) changes
• Disconnect closed locations, maintain database
